Samantha Romero
STEWARDSHIP DIRECTOR
I was born in Kentucky but have called many places home as my father served in the United States Air Force. Most recently, I lived in Denver, Colorado, where the rest of my extended family still resides. I came to Lawrence in 2010 with my husband, who is a native. We just knew that Lawrence was the place to raise our children.
My children will be the 3rd generation from the Romero family to be a part of this incredible parish. So, I have a vested interest in the success of St. John. I have three children, two of whom are currently at St. John School. I feel so lucky to be able to provide this top notch Catholic education for them.
My primary responsibilities at St. John include parish development, fundraising events, ministry development, and communications. Really, though, I will do anything if it means helping this parish. I love what I do and have a passion for sharing the Gospel and Christ’s love. I want to serve all of you!
My hobbies include baking, traveling, and eating good food! My family is, of course, HUGE Jayhawk fans and we love spending time together going to parks and watching movies. I look forward to serving this parish community for many years to come!
