Library Book Donation
Donating a book to the school library is a great way to celebrate a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, baptism, first communion, confirmation, graduation), or to recognize a person or group of people (family, friends, favorite teacher, scout troop, or even a pet). It is also a wonderful way honor the memory of a loved one who has died. Every book that you donate will be treasured by St. John students for year to come.
There are three easy ways that you can donate to our school library:
- Donate books or cash directly to the school using this donation form: Library Book Donation Form
- Go to www.btsb.com/sosl/stjohncatholicschool2 to view our wish list and make a donation of either books or cash through the SOS Library program. This is a service offered by Bound-to-Stay-Bound books, a company that offers high quality, durable, library-bound books. Donations are made to the web site. 100% of all donations go towards the purchase of books for the school. Specific books can be selected from the wish list or a general monetary donation can be made and the company will ship books that are on our wish list. You can also have a free bookplate added to the front of the book.
- Look for the “St. John School – Lawrence, KS” wish list on Amazon.com or click here:www.amazon.com
We will put bookplates in the front of each donated book to recognize the donor and/or the person being honored by the donation. Student donors get to be the first to check out books that they donate. To see photos of some of our recent donors click here: www.teacherweb.com/KS/StJohnSchool/Library/gallery2.aspx
