Summer Opportunities are all lined up, and it is time to start registering! We have three great events planned, and registration forms for all are due by May 15, 2014. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, as these opportunities–especially Steubenville of the Rockies–will likely fill up quickly! Parents, financial aid is available if needed…we work to keep costs as low as possible, but we do not want money to be an obstacle to a great experience for your children!
High school students and middle school students have an opportunity to serve as room coordinators and group leaders at the St. John Vacation Bible School. Contact Jen at if you are interested in helping out with the children in this wonderful ministry of St. John!
Steubenville conferences provide high school students with an opportunity to search, define, and practice their faith in a more intimate setting. While the weekend conferences still draw a large number of attendees (several thousand), events are designed in a way that can reach out to the youth on an individual level.
You won’t want to miss this life-changing experience. We will leave on Friday morning for Denver and from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon we will attend the Steubenville Conference. You will hear amazing Catholic speakers, experience prayer like never before, and grow in friendship with others. Following the conference, we will head to the mountains to unpack the experience and grow in faith together! We return home late on Tuesday night.
Spend a week serving those people in need in our own backyard! This year we, Lawrence, Kansas is hosting P&A. We will live simply all week at the school, and complete small home improvement projects like painting houses and doing yard work. The evening programming is AWESOME, and you will meet 40 other teens from all over the Archdiocese! Come one, come all, to SERVE others!
